Fake porn have made of Gal Gadot,   

Gal Gadot is not just the most searched international celebrity on Google in the year gone by but Wonder Woman has also become a victim of the AI.

A Reddit user, evidently a fan of the actress, used face swap technology to swap Gadot’s face in place of a porn star’s to make a porn video of hers. The Reddit user going by the name of Deepfakes, who is a programmer with an interest in machine learning, used the tricks at his disposal to paste the face of Gadot on that of a porn star’s, consequently making a fake porn video of the actress. This was done using open-source machine learning tools like TensorFlow which is made freely available by Google for users… for research purposes.

A porn video has made its way to the Internet very recently, like so many do everyday, but this one in particular is different. For one, thing, it’s got ‘Wonder Woman’ star Gal Gadot in it, supposedly having sex with her step brother.

No, it’s not Gal Gadot,

no its not really the Israeli actress, though the creator tried his best to make it work.

The video was modified using an AI algorithm to dynamically place Gadot’s face on a pornstar’s body. It’s not perfect either; there are moments when you look close enough that you spot the face warping as the actress turns her head for instance, but it’s still a scary indicator of things to come. So far, deepfakes has posted hardcore porn videos featuring the faces of Scarlett Johansson, Maisie Williams, Taylor Swift, Aubrey Plaza, and Gal Gadot on Reddit. I’ve reached out to the management companies and/or publicists who represent each of these actors informing them of the fake videos, and will update if I hear back.

Fake celebrity porn, where images are photoshopped to look like famous people are posing nude, is a years-old category of porn with an ardent fan base. People commenting and voting in the subreddit where deepfakes posts are big fans of his work. This is the latest advancement in that genre.Champandard said researchers can then begin developing technology to detect fake videos and help moderate what’s fake and what isn’t, and internet policy can improve to regulate what happens when these types of forgeries and harassment come up.

“In a strange way,” this is a good thing, Champandard said. “We need to put our focus on transforming society to be able to deal with this.”

Artificial intelligence is a game-changer. Never in the history of human existence has there existed a technology with the power to wipe out cancer, end traffic accidents, and perhaps even formulate an actionable plan to reverse climate change. And fortunately for us, some of the smartest people in the world are working on ways to tap AI’s immense power to do just that.

Others are using it to create fake videos of celebrities getting fucked.

So far the tool’s creator has produced videos or GIFs of Gal Gadot (now deleted ), Maisie Williams, Taylor Swift, Aubrey Plaza, Emma Watson, and Scarlett Johansson, each with varying levels of success. None are going to fool the discerning watcher, but all are close enough to hint at a terrifying future where sex tapes exist because the 14-year-old version of yourself closed his eyes and willed them into existence.The unsettling new video spotted by Motherboard might not fool anyone, but it is a stark reminder of the growing concerns over the ease with which machine learning could be used to create fake porn starring a particular person without their consent, along with other malicious content.

And, it’s not the first.

Deepfakes has made similar videos of other stars, too, including Taylor Swift and Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams, according to Motherboard, which says it has notified the management companies and publicists of those affected.

The Redditor relied on open-source machine learning tools to create the fake porn videos.

The algorithm was trained on real porn videos and images of Gal Gadot, allowing it to create an approximation of the actor’s face that can be applied to the moving figure in the video.
